It was constructed by Queen Rudabai in 1499, and was one of the main stoppages for travelers and convoys passing through this trade route. To the side of this mosque, another Somnath Temple was built by queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore, Peshwa of Pune, Raja Bhonsle of Nagpur, Chhatrapati Bhonsle of Kolhapur and Shrimant Patilbuwa Shinde of Gwalior in the year 1783. The main feature of this temple is that it Shivling is located below the ground level.

The Victoria Park is the most famous park spreading across a total area of 500 acres in the Bhavnagar City. It was set up in 1888 by Maharaja Takhtasinhji of the Bhavnagar city. It was constructed in the shape of a triangle to look different. It is conserved by the Indian Government to preserve its beauty. Rich in flora and fauna, it has varieties of birds, reptiles, mammals, etc. For bird watchers and nature admirers, this is the correct place. The popular Sun Temple is also in the Gujarat. It was built by the King Bhimdev I between 1022 and 1063. There is another Sun Temple located in Konark, but the temple of Gujarat was the first one built at least two centuries ago from the Konark temple. The fine structure of the Gujarat Sun Temple enthralls anyone. It is situated on a round hill to attract the crowd. It was built in a way that during the dawn, the first sun rays fall on the image of Surya located inside it. The architecture of both the temples of Gujarat & Konark resembles to each other very much. The inner sanctum of the temple adorned with the carvings of birds, goddesses, beasts and blossoms. The 52 beautifully carved pillars in the exterior complex of the temple depict the scenes from the Ramayana, Krishna Leelas and the Mahabharata. It tempts the tourists much.

As we know that Gujarat is famous for its Asiatic Lion located in the Gir National Park. Most of the tourists come to this place as outside Africa; this is the only place where wild lions can be found. One can truly experience their natural habitats. Also, visiting the marshy areas full of crocodiles is another great experience. Chirping birds of wild nature hanging from one stem to another in the tree. Grazing livestock and harvesting what they need from the forest gives the exquisite view. Through the elephant safari and jeep safari, one can see the whole park in a day or two.
